Comments Thread For: Zab Judah Sides With Sky Sports With Amir Khan Rift

IBF junior welterweight champion Zab Judah is willing to settle the ongoing dispute between British network Sky Sports and WBA champion Amir Khan. Since the month of April, there has been a rift between Khan and Sky. The network refused to carry Khan's April defense with Paul McCloskey on pay-per-view. Khan was forced to take the fight on one week's notice to rival pay-per-view outlet Primetime. Sky also passed on showcasing Khan's July clash with Judah on pay-per-view. Once again, Primetime stepped in to carry the Judah defense.

judah is ****in ******... the fact that they won't allow khan/judah on their airwaves is because sky thinks judah is a poor opponent.

Consider if HBO and Showtime refuse to air matches like Bute/Magee, Chavez/Zebeak like Sky refusing Khan/McCloskey, Khan/Judah. We, the fans, would be treated to much more intriguing mathes more often.

I remember a press statement put out by Sky after the Khan/McCloskey's negotiation broke down. Sky, in essence, said they were happy to move on because it was one of the worst, stressful negotiation they've ever had with any boxer. I believe they refuse to consider Khan at this time because the bad taste in their mouth is still fresh, and it's not worth dealing with Team Khan's shenanigans for an opponent like Judah.
