If Sergio wants to fight someone so bad.

    He should rematch PWill.

I just got done watching again with the intent to analyze it. After watching again and then re-watching the knockout in super slow motion 5 times. No way in hell does that result happen again.

I like Sergio and all but that was a fluke. The guy throws a MMA style haymaker without looking at where it will land and it just so happens to land on the button that doesn't just knock PWill out but literally just turns off the entire network.

No way that it happens again in that fashion. That was like the 1 out of 10 chance that Martinez gets that result. He should definitely rematch PWill because I think he may actually lose the rubber match. Judging from number 2, the rubber match would go PWill's way. No doubt about it.

If Williams get an impressive win over Erislandy Lara then we could see that fight again because Williams is the only guy that seems to be willing to fight him

When you're done analyzing a two round fight,go back and watch their first fight.Hell, just watch the very first round of their rematch, where Williams got caught with the exact same punch around twenty times, and then tell me that it was a mere accident that Paul "knowwhatimsayin?" Williams got caught with a lucky shot. The guy was always an accident waiting to happen.

It's common knowledge that Paul Williams has the defense of a club fighter. This was demonstrated when Walter Matthysse - the guy who got sparked inside of two rounds by Kermit Cintron - had little trouble hitting Williams consistently.Likewise when Carlos Quintana outclassed, exposed and spanked him thoroughly, and when Kermit Cintron had him all shook up.

There's a reason why you MMGAY fans are regarded as a joke and treated with such contempt on this forum. No class, and no true knowledge or respect for the sport of boxing. We don't want you here.Just go! We don't want you to stay.

it wasn't a lucky punch. team sergio knew they were gonna hit pwill with that shot, so sergio was throwing that shot alot. no doubt they were working with that punch in sparring and in training. the way pwill puts his chin out there with no kind of defense, the chances of pwill getting KTFO was 80%-90%... that isn't a fluke

Exactly, did you see how often in the fight he tried to land that counter before the KO? It was no fluke. It wouldn't happen again because P. Williams would be more carefull when leaning forward but I see Martinez beating him again.

            This shiiit again?

            That was no lucky punch.

And even though I had Martinez winning the first fight I wouldn't mind seeing them fight a third time. These guys don't know how to put in a bad fight.

Williams is already scheduled to fight Lara.

Williams says he wants Martinez but after Lara.

Well, in the first fight, Williams got caught with the same type of punch a ton of times, but walked right thru them. It just so happened that Martinez said he would ko Williams in all of his interviews, and somehow did it. Just like Babe Ruth pointing over the right field wall, before he actually hit the homerun there. No one really expected it. It was just a shock that he actually predicted it and did it.

Im not agreeing that it was a fluke, but in all honesty its not hard to HIT P-Will. Martinez wound up catching him at the right time, with the right punch, while Williams was in the process of winding up and throwing a punch himself.

Looking back at the first fight, Martinez was getting tagged when Williams:

1: had Martinez at arms length
2: Williams was "first"; first to punch and initiate offense
                  3: Williams dictated the movement/distance

Williams gave Martinez the same as Williams got from Martinez. That fight wasnt as easy for Martinez as people want to believe. The last thing he wanted to do was have another fight like that. When Williams gets into a rhythm and figures an opponent out, its mighty hard to stop him.

And the Martinez camp was selling bull**** wolf tickets; they didnt have a damn spectacular gameplan like they said to beat Williams. Stevie ****ing Wonder could hit Paul Williams; his defense is terrible. All they did was back up when Williams moved towards him, get into Williams chest (Williams on the ropes), and tried to catch him in the exchanges of punches. Williams gets hit THE MOST when he is throwing. Walter Mathysse caught Paul in exchanges. Look back at Sharmba Mitchell catch Paul with like 5 right hands as Paul threw punches. Winky caught Paul a few times in the exchanges. If you can trade punch for punch with Paul (and not many fighters can do that) you can beat him if your power is enough to end the night.

Do i think the punch was "lucky"? No, but I really dont think it was as precisely telegraphed as people say it was.
