This is good news as I would hate to see Top Rank or Golden Boy become a monopoly in this sport. It's bad enough TR barely goes outside their stable to make fights unless they know its a sure win for the Top Rank Fighter (ex Chavez vs Zbik).

Maravilla needs to get with someone that is gonna advise him to move up. The middleweight champ needs to stop following the Hagler and B-Hop model of waiting around for the welterweight stars to come to him because it ain't gonna happen. He needed to be calling out B-Hop aftre the first Pascal fight. Now that B-Hop has the light heavy title, it makes that fight even bigger. Get it through your head Sergio, Mayweather and Pacquaio will never fight you. Move up and stop taking irrelevant fights.

While Top Rank is the best as far as building fighters and fights, nobody can get a boxers fights like GBP.

IMO Sergio would have been wise to sign with GBP as I'm sure they would have got him the fights he wanted.

Sergio should've stayed as a free agent for a while to see who came knocking, I understand him signing with Lewkowicz but not signing with Dibella.

DiBella is not a bad Promoter, just have to invest more into Martinez and do more PROMOTION for a guy that is one of the BEST P4P right now and I think he will start to do more but HBO need to get behind him as well, just like Showtime is behind guys like Bute and Ward and that entire 168 division
