    Who's buying the PPV tonight???

Who's paying another $50 for this ppv?

I'm going to invite couple of my friends over to order the PPV. Undercards arent very interesting but I'd love to see RJ beat the living crap outta Tarver once and for all.

Oh yea, I bought one of those digital cable filters which attaches to the back of the cable box and supposedly filter out signal with PPV order information going back to cable company. I also heard that you gotta clear the memory of the cable box AND THEN remove the filter from time to time, cuz cable company's checking on it by "talking" to the cable box and seeing if it responds or not. if it doesn't repond, cable company obviously finds out that you're doing something funny with the box. I still don't know if it is possible to clear or reset the memory of the cable box, so I was wondering if any of you have the filter as well and whether it really works or not.

By the way, cable tv and PPVs are so ridiculously expensive, i always feel like i'm being robbed... payback time if the filter really works!!!

I seriously thought about it, but decided not to since Corrales-Castillo 2 is next week and I dont think the fight tonight will be all that great.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I would like to look into getting one of these as well. Do you have any information on getting one, and does it work for all digital cable providers?

Unfortunately I will be one of the idiots blowing the $50 on the PPV as always, I'm sick of being one of them though so I'd like a way out, even if it's illegal.

Their isnt any way possible for people to steal ppv/premium channels anymore...They are only offered digitally and the codes cant be cracked.

that's what i thought but there are a lot of ppl actually saying that these filters work. only thing u have to watch out for is clearing the memory cuz it contains all the ppv history that could be sent back to the cable company if the filter's removed for wutever reason

oh well, i'll find out sooner or later. i paid 10 bucks for the filter and could get a refund if it doesnt work. ill let u know

I've read into what you are talking about...I think a lot of ebay auctions are scams...It seems possible but at the same time I dont believe it...The ones I looked at said I would order it with my remote and it would give me the signal but not send it to the cable company...I wouldnt want to take a chance on that...Say it works one time and in one day you order a bunch of movies at $3.99 and some ****o at $9.99 and a boxing fight that evening for $49.99...You are ****ed...Seems fishy and if it is sounds to good to be true it probably is...Seeing would be believing and I wouldnt want to see my cable bill if it didnt work, especially if you dont have the cash and expected it to work and it didnt....
