          He had a very good career. He won't go down as "Great", though, and not just because of the shadow cast over his body of work by the 'loading' controversy. Most historians/pundits wouldn't consider his career Great even without that.


          BUT, not being thought of as Great in those strict terms doesn't necessarily deny him a path to immortality in the hearts of fans, present and future.


          There is only one Margarito. Fighters can only emulate him in spirit, by blazing their own brave trail. There will be remarkable fighters in years to come, and some who will capture your heart and imagination in their own defining way, don't worry about that.

            Realistically this is right.

            The "experts" will always deny him Hall of Fame status and never give him a chance. But Tony has already won the hearts of true boxing fans, and for that he will always be remembered as a legend.
