Boxing fans think Dawson has a bad chin, and Dawson fights as if he doesn't want to get hit, as if the critics were right. But he took Glen Johnsons best shots and was never knocked down, Allen Green crumpled in eight rounds against Glen Johnson. He took Pascal's best shots and was never seriously hurt except for that head-butt. Diaconu (a puncher) nailed Dawson with good right hands and Dawson was never close to being knocked down.

I don't understand Dawson, he clearly does not have a bad chin, but he fights sometimes like he does. I expect Dawson to turn it on against Hopkins. Hopkins power does not scare Dawson.

as hard as it is to bet against hopkins i cant see him winning this fight, dawson is a monster! chad had an off night against pascal, anyone who followed his career knows he wasnt himself that night. now hes back, hungry and with the perfect trainer to finally untap all that potential he has. hopkins meanwhile looked good in spots against pascal but also showed weakness as hes had ever since he came out of retirement to fight winky.

if hopkins pulls another rabbit out of the hat you have to rank him the number one fighter of his generation bar none! hes already #1 on my list but this would make it damn near a landslide.
