WBO orders Dzinziruk-Konecny II

After suffering his first loss against middleweight champion Sergio Martinez in March, WBO jr middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (37-1, 23 KOs) will now have to return to the 154lb division to defend his world title against mandatory contender and reigning European champion Lukas Konecny (47-3, 22 KOs). The WBO has called for a June 16 purse bid for that bout on June 16 at WBO Headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with WBO President Francisco Valcarcel presiding. Minimum bid is $200,000. Dzinziruk won a controversial majority decision over Konecny in 2008.
