After the Pac fight, Cotto has been protected. Once Margarito gets back to boxing, he's going to be protected as well. So yes I'm serious. I'm not talking about the 147 version, I'm talking about the 154 and post got his ass kicked twice version.

It would be a good fight Cotto is mentally tougher and a better overall fighter but Kermit has a big punch and is the bigger man. 3 years ago Cotto wins by tko now its a toss up.

I think he jumped to get that easy win. I personally think he was schooling Williams in those 4 rounds. He should of gotten the win, but I wouldn't of classified it as a big win regardless cause of the act.

Only two fights since coming to 154 one was a title fight that some thought would be an upset and the other a weak defense for a payday. Let's see what happens next before we say a guy with the track record of Cotto is a protected fighter.

u cant complain about Cotto's opposition. Mayorga was B.S. fight, but Foreman was an undefeated champ who had proven to be a decent boxer - not a great fight, but a definitely a reasonable comeback fight after the beating he took from Pac. Cotto has fought virtually everyone : Pac, Mosely, Judah, Margarito, Clottey, Malinaggi, Quintana,
etc., , and just turned 30. So he took an easy payday against Mayorga - give the guy a break, he's a warrior
