Goldenboypromotions trumps Arum/King in purse bid

I just read on ********** that Goldenboypromotions won the purse bid for Hopkins/Eastman with 4.2 million, Hennesy sports bid 4.1 and Don King and Arum weren't even in the ball park at 1.8 and 1.5...did OScar go to high? Who cares this is a statement telling these to longtime dominate promoters that this is not Sugar Ray Leonard or Roy Jones your dealing with, this is the soon to be dominant force in boxing promotions.

Some on the site have argued with me about how successful Oscar will be in the fight game, I think in the past year he has left no doubt that very soon he will be the number one name in town when it come to promotions...

    This is great for boxing!!!

Oscar and B. Hopkins are partners... I wonder if that helped them. But it is great news. Lets get somebody else on top off the game. King and Arum have been calling the shots. We had Goosen for a bit with the Rueles Bros. Nobody has come close to the top two, I hope They can get some other fighters in their promotion.

King and Arum are both in their seventies. It's time to look for replacement, I guess. Let's just hope DLH won't be as greedy as those two and actually put fights base on boxing fans demand.

Prizefight Boxing, is an up and coming promotions team as well, they have put on Lewis vs Tyson, Lewis vs Klitschko, Jones vs Johnson, along with the largest gate ever for Tyson vs Lewis, they have the largest gate for a female boxing event with Layla Ali vs Christy Martin --- not bad at all I would say...
