Interesting question. Right now, Rigondeaux's lawyer has petitioned the WBA to stop the Shimoda-Ramos fight that is supposed to be July 9 on HBO because Rigondeaux is the interim titleholder and supposedly the mandatory. He wants his shot at Shimoda or for Shimoda to be stripped and him be given the title. I have read the complaint and it is damning for the WBA (which is clearly not following its rules in this instance). The WBA has not ruled yet. We shall see what happens.

I'd be surprised to even see him get to 20 pro fights at this pace.

Rigondeaoux should call up Brad Solomon's agent. Solomon has fought Rigon's total fights minus 1, in just 1 year, in 2010 Solomon fought 7 times. So I don't see what the problem is with getting Rigondeaoux more fights.

What happen with Rigondeaux???
