lets boil it down:
hopkins - class act - wasnt at his best v calzaghe but still sat him down in r1 - just like roy J did. calzaghe cant take a punch and had to wait for them to get old before he would take a challenge.
lacy - bum hype job. no better than manfredo
kessler - got a home cooked decision v froch just like pascal got against hopkins. warrior but styles make fights and he is **** against a flick em out jab-a-holic like josie.
pascal - got owned by froch. took carl 1 fight not 2 to close the show
calzaghe - *****slapper. fought noone his whole career and didnt leave his own back yard until he thought he was taking on old shot men. got a wake up call and had to employ full amateur boxing style to beat. "enjoying his retirement"? yeah...snorting it up his nose - true professional!
abraham - everyone was swallowing his semen before he got DQd against dirrell. and a lot said dirrell was feigning coz he wanted to avoid his bumchum ward. carl took him to school. legit
ward - no power. headbutter. grabber. beat kessler on brains not brawn.
dirrell - skilful but weak puncher. runs. runs a bit more. ran froch close but noone wins an away fight running like that.

Maybe Calzaghe would of won, we don't know and like a lot of things in Calzaghes career we dont know. We don't know if Calzaghe could of beat a prime Roy Jones jr, or a less than grandpa version of Hopkins.

Truth is Frochs resume is so much nicer than Calzaghes and will always be that way. Calzaghe may have his 0 but he is long forgotten because it's the moments in the ring against the best that we remember the most, not a ****** 0. I have major respect for Carl Froch and very little for Joesph Calzaghe.

I agree that Froch's resume is already more impressive than Calzaghes.

And triangular theory doesn't always work. SO just because JC beat Kessler and Froch didn't doesn't really mean anything.
Froch has always had difficulty with good straight punchers, Kessler was a stylistic nightmare for Froch and I am surprised Froch he did as good as he did.

I think Froch could beat Calzaghe .. I think Sako Bika, only with more skill.
Froch is a stylistic nightmare for JC.. But JC was Mr Adaptable.. So who knows? It's all speculation.

Carl froch has to be at least among the best that for sure,calzaghe was good but most of those fighter were past their prime's. Well with hopkins calzaghe got that one. However he did'nt want a rematch with hopkins. Froch has fought very good fighter in their prime's. Well mybe not jhonson. However I still think he beat a young jhonson either way. I think lennox lewis is the best english fighter of ALL-TIME. Froch is in their above hatton, and buchanan, some where in the middle of wilder, calzaghe. There something very interesting in all this.
