How Good Is Gary Russell Jr?

Seems to be really going under the radar. Amazing amatuer & 15-0 Pro. I wonder how good he can become?

The best of the bunch to me is Gary Antonio Russell (the youngest one). IMO he has way more potential than Gary Russell Jr. even though Antonio is a lot younger and still an amateur.

hes alright, but unless your super talented or have a huge fan base, HBO usually waits a couple of years until you have some experience and solid wins under your belt.

He is right where he should be, fighting on Fight club Nokia, and maybe we will see him in a few years.

FWIW he already has a ****ty @ss diva attitude so I see him as another overhyped Al Haymon fighter.

Really? You met him or something? Even with a attitude he still may end up being world class do.

That kid is a monster. When I lived in VA, he get a lot of sparring in at different gyms since he was right next door in DC. The common theme was that he hit like a mack truck.

He has great technical ability... speed, power, footwork... he'll be a force soon.

He has the talent to be world class and I predict him to do so.

I just don't like this current crop of amateurs like Broner, Russell, Henry, Andrade etc as they are arrogant for no reason. Dudes haven't accomplished a thing and you can already see a diva attitude in these guys. If they have the work ethic to match.....cool, but with Haymon/HBO serving up these guys undeserved HBO dates and paydays.....I see these crop of guys really hurting the sport of boxing.
