I'm just not impressed by Ortiz's win over Berto.

And I'm not even meaning this as a dig at Victor Ortiz. And I'm not saying he doesn't deserve credit at all for beating Berto the way he did. But somebody tell me how the fuck Berto is a measuring stick for how Ortiz would do against Floyd? Jack. That's what the answer is.

Berto may have had a belt and all that. But he didn't earn it by going through adversity, that's for sure.

I really do think Floyd waited on the opportunity to jump on a guy with a fan following who is a weak link like the hand picker that he is.

Look at how a shot ass Morales did against Maidana and compare it to Ortiz's performance against Maidana. Now some people will say that Ortiz's loss to Maidana was a fluke because of certain things. But I still think Maidana beats him ten times out of ten until Ortiz proves otherwise.

In fact, he should have to rematch Maidana to get an opportunity at a big fight like this. I don't care if he did win a belt against some guy who was hyped up by HBO.

It seems like I'm down talking Ortiz now more than I am criticizing Floyd, and I don't want it to become like that. But I'm just keeping it 100 on why Floyd is the king of oppurtinism.

Why didn't he fight a real challenge like Sergio Martinez? Now some people will ask why doesn't Pacquiao do the same. And I agree even he deserves a little criticism for not fighting him. But Floyd deserves more or at least the same.

Ice, the Maidana boat sailed when Khan beat him.

Maidana came back but Khan won more rounds.

So everyone forgot about that as fast as they forgot about Chris Byrd beating Klitschko.

Why didn't Pacquiao fight Sergio Martinez???

That would be ****ING ****** of Floyd to go from a 16 month layoff to fighting Sergio Martinez, it's already tough enough to go from a 16 month layoff to fighting Ortiz.

Truth be told BOTH bunch of fans have came to the conclusion that you can't blame Mayweather or Pacquiao for NOT fighting Sergio Martinez.

Sugar Ray Leonard fought Hagler, the most feared middleweight of the decade, after a 3 plus year layoff.

              What's the problem?

So do you only want Mayweather to fight Martinez and NOT Pacquiao???

THEY DID!! Roberto Duran, SRL, and all of these guys stepped up in weight MANY of times.

I don't have a problem with Floyd or Manny fighting Sergio Martinez, but there are people that do.

                    What up Iceta.

Man, thing is...Ortiz has tried to get the Maidana rematch, he's pushed for it. I disagree with Maidana beating him 10 times out of 10, to me, Maidana is average, he beat Ortiz fair and square, no fluke...but a rematch would go differently. Ortiz kills him right now. I can understand you feeling that Berto was overrated, but I think Ortiz is just better at WW. Bigger, stronger, better stamina, that giving him more confidence. I'm still on the fence with Ortiz's heart though...we'll see.
