  • Kermit Cintron News

Just noticed that Cintron fought Francisco Parra (5-5) last night in (I assume) the Ballroom. It took place on Michaels 8th Ave. in Glen Burnie, MD and thats where Ballroom Boxing has been for a long time.
Did anybody see this fight? Can you tell me if he won and if so how he looked please?
I hope this fight was just the beginning of a comeback for him

********* says he won in the third round. They dont say how but youd have to assume KO/TKO.

Said he wants another tune up in November and then wants Judah, Collazo or Margarito again.

thank you! I'm glad he won cause I was worried how he'd do after the bad loss to Margarito I'm crazy about him but I dont think a bout with a guy thats 5-5 is good for his morale....not with that kind of record. I almost dread knowing who he'll fight in the next tune up!
      Thanks for the info.

Me too, very much. He jumped into the ring with Margarito way WAY too soon! I hope to see him move beyond that disaster and really accomplish something. I feel the same way about Francisco Panchito Bojado too. Get back in there boys and get it right next time

That fight was like throwing a young rooster against a wolf. Margarito just did his thing. Now they have to rebuild Cintrón and eventually put him in the ring with Arturo Gatti or Shane Mosley.

lol, now that you mention it, Cintron vs. Gatti would be very interesting! I just hate to see so many of these young new guys getting beat and disappear! Ricardo Williams got lazy and fat (from what I read) then Rocky Juarez, Bojado, Cintron. Too many "good guys" too fast I fell for all three of them all except Williams while watching them on NBC's Budweiser series and really thought each one had the goods to go a long, long way. Maybe they still do.
