          I gotta go with Glen Johnson for 2004. He worked his azz off to beat a couple guys this year nobody thought he would beat.

                      Many fighters each year deserve a look in at fighter of year. There are up and comers we dont even know about who may have been on a huge turn around or run of consecutive wins. On a global scale, JOHNSON, HE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!!! FULL CREDIT TO JOHNSON! he was always a champion, its just that no-one gave him a chance, even looked at his credentials, his only KO loss was to the great Bernard Hopkins.
