he floated to the ring in a sort-of half globe structure from the upper tiers of MGM Grand, and underneath Naz during the "float" was a pro-Barrera crowd, all waving their Mexican flags

all I could think of is: Naz, you're in the wrong 'hood 2night brother!

and Barrera commences to demolish the Prince

Even though he got his ass kicked, I'm going to say Greg Haugen vs Chavez. I know it wasn't the greatest entrance but look at some of the factors. Greg had already pissed of the Mexican audience with all his borderline racial stuff he said. The fight was held in Mexico, and he comes out to what? "Born in the USA". That, in my opinion took some balls.

when you have the U.S behind you it doesnt take that many balls

I like the James Toney entrance when he fought Iran Barkley......just a straight walk to the ring with music playing and his entourage behind him


i miss the skull and bones days

but othe rthen i like the into of Roy when he was rapping from some big ass stage

i remember the Haugen fight i kinda thought it was basic at most i never saw the fight before but i knew he was gonna come into the ring with some stuff like that.........but never heard the stuff he said about the mexican people

and the Nax barrera thing when he was floating to the ring i swore i saw some fans throwing some stuff at Naz....anybody else see that ?

Exactly, 130K mexicans who wanted Haugen dead, had he of somehow pulld off the upset he would have been killed that night by the crowd.

That reminded me of the entrance from Rocky...It worked, that was what Mesi was being built up to be.

I like alot of Naz's stuff, Roy Jones Jr. w/ Method man, and pretty much all of Tyson's during his heyday just plain badass black trunks, black shoes, w/ the white towel, pre-tattoo days, Rooney and Cus right behind him and that mean mug of his, and some good hard gonna wanna f**k someone up rap **** to go along w/ it. Man even some of the experts who now say "I told you so" about Iron Mike felt it and believed it. Just the whole invincible aura walk towards the ring. Now you have ****** like Judah and Vargas trying to do the same thing. I was just a kid then but I remember my dad and some of his staff were over at the house to watch I think it was the Leonard-Hagler fight and Hagler wore a hat that said World War 3 on it during entrance, Hagler had that aura as well. I just like alot of the old fighters w/ the black shoes and towel who wore a look that could kill on their way to the ring.
