Miguel Cotto vs. Victor Ortiz - Who wins?

Ive got Cotto winning around the 8th, he's just the much better boxer and would break Ortiz down.

There was a poll about this not long ago, a day or so.

    I've got Cotto by UD.

      Ortiz.

Cotto struggled against an ancient Mayorga.

At this stage I like Ortiz over Cotto. Cotto has never been the same since the Plasterito fight.

Mayorga had a few 3 second moments here and there but I didn't see too much of a struggle.

I think I'll go with Cotto at this point, but I could see either way. Ortiz is fresher at this point, but I think Cotto is just simply too skilled.

He couldn't put Mayorga until the 12th, and was hit by that overhand right REPEATEDLY.

I've always felt Cotto has HUGE holes in his defense. Which is why he's been in life and death wars with the likes of Ricardo Torres.

I think Ortiz's youth would prevail. He likes to mix it up (maybe even too much) and Cotto wouldn't back down.

Ortiz outlasts him, at this point.

Meh, Mayorga had some moments, but he was clearly and concisely beaten.

Nobody ever made Cotto out to be a defensive wizward... ever.

The Ortiz that fought Berto would be a handful for a lot of fighters.

Exactly, and after all the wars he's been in, he wouldn't hold up against Ortiz.
