Not unless he fights Marquez. I think he beats everyone else at 135, but I would like to see Rios vs Guerrero. Ya gotta admit, he is one hard mofo, a wicked body puncher, and he seriously brings it man.
Hes no master technician alright, but he is still fun to watch.
Come on man, I used to be the most **** critic of sluggers, punchers, pressure-fighters..... but you will not see too many people walk out of a Rios fight.Comment

Oh I agree, Rubio is a tough out, no question, that was my point.
At the press conference after the Zbik fight, Jnr publicly stated that he does not want easy fights, he just wants to fight the best.
Rubio is a better first up defence than Martinez, who called him out at that same press conference after the Zbik fight, and who has also made a similar approach to Team Chavez within the last few days.
Rubio is his mandatory, so Jnr will have to fight him anyway, and what difference will one weaker defence make to his experience level or ring savvy?
By fighting his mandatory Rubio, he can get the monkey off his back, and he wont be called a b1tch for ducking Martinez. That would be a credible defence.
IMO Jnr needs to stay away from Martinez and try to solidify his position, now the fun begins, and Rubio would be a great start. I would have Rubio a favorite in that fight, but Jnr doesnt want anymore easy fights..... so?Comment
