So what do you want? The division lacks talent! And don't go with the "Get up to 168" ... I'm pretty confident he'll do it, maybe at the end of next year, but right now there are a lot of MW boxers that Martinez can beat to unify all the belts! Don't blame him for trying to do so.

manny and floyd are the only two fighters above him in the p4p list, and both have "junior middleweight" bouts on their records. chavez has his old belt. those are the best 3 fights financially for him besides cotto at 154. he's willing to fight pac & may at jmw. i'm sure if pirog or any other mw could sell fights, he'd challenge them too. i'm not agreeing with serg, but his goal is to become p4p no.1 and he feels like may and pac can meet him at jmw for a clash. he's not calling out berto, zaveck, or senchenko, he's calling out the only two guys above him on the p4p list and the best financial fight at mw for him

Sergio Martinez, in the very first line no less, has publicly admitted he has brokered an arrangement to avoid fighting Chavez next. He does not want to fight Chavez, it is the most transparent ducking in history.

It takes great skill not to notice that is precisely what he said. But fear not the Sergio mafia are up to this momentous challenge. I predict this inconvenience, you know a blatant admission from their hero, will be swept away and we'll hear all kinds of greats tales about how the WBC, HBO, the UN and the United States government are screwing poor Martinez.

Martinez would beat the breaks off of Chavez...if the fight gets announced, I'll seek you out....500 Mill on Martinez to break the chump's heart. Dude isn't dodging anything....it takes little skill to see that Suliman is a crooked toolbag and doesn't want Martinez to fight Chavez. Dude knows that he can make plenty of money off sanctioning fees associated with Chavez's fights- he can't do that if Martinez has the belts because Martinez doesn't have the name recognition that Chavez does. I agree could you imagine if Sergio was promoted by golden boy or top rank, he would at least be fighting on PPV, i feel like Sergio has never been properly promoted. The guy aint getting any younger and he isn't getting the fights nor the money he deserves.

It's easy to blame the promoter, but the best fighters in the world don't want to fight him. You don't see the best fighters in the world calling him out for a fight and he's always calling out guys for a fight. You don't see Money, Manny, Cotto, etc. calling him out and asking for a fight. I don't even think guys like Margacheato and Chavez Jr. want anything to do with Martinez.
