It wouldn't be an easy fight for Ortiz and I don't think that's a fight Ortiz' people would ever agree to.
Marg is 1-2 at 154 lbs. No KO's. He is not suited for the weight.

Funny how Ortiz went from a quitting bum to pound for pound one of the greatest fighters to ever live as soon as he signed to fight Mayweather...

Hmmmm, I wonder who is behind these posts?

No one is saying he is that good. Besides, since he quit he defeated an undefeated champion in a higher weight class. When Roberto Duran did that everyone set aside his "no mas " against Leonard.

Ortiz does the same thing and he is forever a quitter. Geez.

The thing is. Duran didnt quit thru punishment he was getting, Ortiz did. Duran quit because Leonard was embarrassing him.

I never said he's a quitter forever, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of this place.

Ortiz is a good fighter, but how is he now a world beater because he signed to fight Floyd?

If Pac signed to fight Ortiz, you know what people would be saying...they would say that Pac is picking on some young green kid that quit vs a bum like Maidana and beat an overrated fighter in Berto.

There is no winning in this place, it's a joke and 99% of the people here couldn't identify a boxing match if they were the referee.

Do you think Margarito used plaster against Cotto?

Margarito hit Manny to his face about 500 times in that fight and couldn't inflict ANY damage whatsoever. Clottey hit him twice and his face looked completely ***ed. Margarito has NO power without his wraps. Pacquiao buckling from a body shot is more likely a weakness to his body than Margarito's power.
I'm not saying everyone in the conversation is a tried and true expert, but you my simple friend are a broken record dumb ass.

Margarito is finished. Doubt very much he can compete at the elite level. he's taken terrible beatings in two out of his last three and looked like doo-doo in the other one. I thought he was slipping when he fought Cotto and he took a lot of blows in that one too. I don' think we'll see him at the top level anymore. Such a shame as, in his prime, he was virtually ignored.
