According to Channel 15 in Nicaragua, former world champion Rosendo "El Bufalo" Alvarez is considering a return to the ring. Alvarez, 41-years-old, is considering a return to the ring in September against an opponent to be confirmed and he's been sparring with Golden Boy prospect Randy Caballero in California. Alvarez is being trained by Mark Caballero, the father of Randy.
