after thinking last nite i have to say that the Ortiz/Mayweather fight is good for boxing as is Floyd. I've never said he doesnt have skills i just didnt like the way he's gone about his biz of not fighting certain fighters or his long layoffs. I think him coming back and fighting Ortiz is great for the sport because it brings back interest from hardcore and casual fans alike. I look forward to this fight(not that i'm buying it but will mos def be watching it).
I dont think Ortiz has that much of a shot(other than having the punchers chance) but for Floyd to come back and fight a young hungry champ speaks volumes imo regardless of people saying how "green" Ortiz is because quite frankly, Ortiz isnt green imo. I just hope in the end that the Floyd/Pac fight happens because if it doesnt, we as fans get robbed of the opportunity of seeing one of the biggest fights that can be made in our generation, and as other generations have witnessed megafights during their time.....
