    This part is especially interesting.
Thanks for posting this here. Seems to be a very intelligent bunch, except for one poster, commenting.

Lou actually does have plans to take Sergio on another network. He mentions it at the end in subtle terms in the part about the future of Martinez and his October 1st fight. I would not be surprised to see them try and do some sort of PPV indie of the networks or to go to Europe to attempt to unify the other belts, in effect chopping down the middleweight tree around Junior. That's what I'd do anyways. The money over there is good so why not?

does not necessarily mean that HBO hate him because they could not provide him with a summer fight date but instead had a october fight date and that they gave him some back seat tickets to watch chavez-zbik....

They are in the business of promoting only black prospects. It's been like that for years.
Its not because he ain't black, its because he's from the wrong latin country/island. Its because he ain't mexican or puerto rican.

What was intertesting to me was chavez jr not selling tickets well in staples center. I wonder what the actual number was for ticket sales?

Yes. The fighters need to either be black or promoted by Bob Arum or Richard Schaefer before HBO will really support them.

Otherwise, Ross Greenburg and Kery Davis are very reluctant to have them on and always make them either wait some extra months, or not have them back on at all.

A black fighter who loses by KO like Williams is treated better by HBO than a white fighter who wins by spectacular KO like Pirog.

A mediocre middleweight like Chavez Jr promoted by Arum is televised fighting Zbik, but for a top middleweight like Martinez promoted by the goy Dibella is not permitted to have Zbik as an opponent.

GBP is actually the ones who should get part of the blame too as they have tons of dates locked up

                      that's true.

gbp is also heavily dependent on hbo.
