It does take away from his achievements. They weren't really that big to begin with, unless youre filipino, then this stuff is HUGE news. Pac beats Morales, Barrera Larios and Draws with Marquez. Not a bad run, but they were all just about washed up, except Marquez. The second run at WW is a farce. 8 weight champ is a farce. The first Barrera win was a farce, it wasnt even a good fight. Please explain how. 1 negotiation was public. PAC's team walked from that one AFTER FM made the 14 days compromise.

There was supposedly another, after FMJ already said OST to the fight. They supposedly offered 14? 7 days? So, if they were offering that through greenburg, then I could see why FM would say there were no negotiations, because he already gave his terms. They screwed him and made it seem like he was the obstical in the first negotiation, when it was the other way around. If they came back with 14 or 7 days, I'm sure he he felt they weren't serious about negotiating and hense "no negotiations". I don't know exactly what happened, but it seems like that is what happened.

Really? The only time this fight was even close to getting amde was in negotiation number one. Team MP lied their ass off and said they offered a compromise of a 14 day cut-off which Floyd rejected, contrary to advice from his team. It was later revealed that Floyd is the one who compromised and offered 14 days only to have it rejected, with Bob and Pac running to sign Clottey.

So the one and only time that this was really in play from all sides it was MP and bob Arum who turned it down. These facts aren't in dispute. One team lies about offering a cut-off, which is actually what the other guy did.
