Comments Thread For: Saul Alvarez's Manager: Roach Disrespected Canelo

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez continues to train for the first defense of his junior middleweight world championship middleweight (WBC). They should have never strapped that belt on him, it basically put a big ass bulls eye on his back.

i've heard of rhodes and he is a bum. canelo shouldn't have that title since he hasn't fought anyone in the top 10.

thats what happens when your handed a world title that you haven't earned. his manager should learn to take criticism that his fighter deserves to get.

Agreed! Saul is a good fighter; the best 20 year-old out there that I know of, but he's no champion. There are atleast three other fighters out there that have paid their dues and deserved the title shot before him: Angulo, Martirosyan, and Wolak. That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more!

LOL@ Roach thinking that Vanes ko's him in 1. Vanes got seriously hurt in his last fight and Canelo is a real puncher at 154.

I think Vanes can outbox and out speed him early but in the later rounds the power of Canelo wears him down.
