In that sense I the Super Six was successful. Unification bout, #1 vs #2 for the Ring belt and clear winner who is better than anyone else in the division (and please don't say Booootay is better the guy has done nothing).
It took a little long, but all in all it was worth it. Can't wait till Showtime gets the next tournament started.
Yeah it turned out pretty well didnt it? I think its fitting that we have 2 from the original lineup and one from each continent in the final.
Will they make another supersix? I find that doubtful TBH. I would be awesome if they did and it would be a better set-up next time as they are certain not to make the same mistakes again.

The SS was a successful, and I for one have enjoyed the tournament..Only thing I did not like is that they moved the final from MSG to Vegas..I would have been at that fight front row if they had it in the Garden..

yes, absolutely. Tournaments are the big thing with Showtime right now. They stared with the Super Six, they did the smaller 4 man bantam tournament and they are currently doing a Strikeforce Heavyweight tournament (MMA) which is a big hit as well, so they certainly want to keep doing them.
I think what they learned from the original Super Six is round robin isn't ideal (takes too long, too many unforeseen things like injuries, etc.), so likely any tournament they'll do from here on out will be single elimination.

I think the round robin was necessary. 3 big fights guaranteed. I highly doubt that Dirrell or Ward would have signed if it was an elimination format. They'd have too much to lose.
One of the problems, as you point out, is the lenght. So maybe they'll make a super4 instead. 4 fighters would be easier to get into an elimination I think.
Yeah I've really enjoyed it be honest, the absence of Kessler and Dirrell doesn't mean too much to me, Kessler appears to be willing to fight the best and Dirrell is just one man.
