The writer of this article should be happy Floyd Mayweather is even fighting. He is taking on a good young fighter and he is still criticized? As a boxing fan, it is great to see this kind of fight since it is an interesting match up. Its frustrating to see that Mayweather gets so much crap from everybody while other fighters don't get s*** said about them. The hypocrisy needs to stop. He's fighting a good young fighter, end of story. When was the last time Pacquiao fought a hungry young fighter?

Don't get me wrong Ortiz is a greater fighter, but just before the Berto he was labeled a "quitter." Last time I checked Marquez won his last 2 fights...is considered #4 P4P in Yahoo Sports & Ring Magazine.
Facts!! Deigo/Zab/Mosely/Castillo( all Gave Money Though Fights)
The Problem is that Money is so Good that he Offset what his Opponents does and make them look sluggish and Slow!!!!

All the Fighters that Money Has Faced in say his last 10-15 Fights were all Champions coming off Career Defining Wins

He Fought them at their Weight He didn't Drain them....( Expects for Marquez he came in heavy but Marquez could have came in whatever weight he wanted too!!!

Not Look at Pac...How can you people really give this man Credit for only fighting Fighters that are Washed up!!! Coming off Bad Loses And then he Drain them!!!
How can ya'll even say this Dude is a All time Great???

Like Another Poster said Arum didn't want Manny to fight Ortiz..But Watch the Pattern After Ortiz Gets Beat by Money they will Darin Ortiz and Fight Him in March 2012 Dude is a Fraud!!!!!

        Khan
        Martinez
        Bradley
        Alexander
        And then Retires...
We all know that manny will never fight those Guys Unless Floyd beats them First!!!
Then he will Drain them and Beat them at Catch-weight........

But Honestly Who will have a Better Legacy And this is a Question for the True Boxing Fans Not the casual ones.
Fraud hasn't fought Ortiz, Khan etc...yet. But Manny has fought Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, De la Hoya, Hatton; all fighters that were bigger than him...fighters that had boxing scribes saying that these fighters had a chance of knocking him out. When has Fraud fought any fighter that was bigger than him or had a chance of knocking him out before Mosley?

Spot on with your points there, Manny hasn't faced a legitimate test since he faced Marquez (of which I had down as a draw), but then again, this is Floyd's first real test at welterweight. I look forward to this fight, which is something I haven't been able to say about Manny for some time now!

                floyd vs manny

they both scared of each other, cuz they know they will walk into ring not being the overwhelming favorite, none of them can risk a loss this late into their careers, This fight will ever happen

"Pacquiao has continued to earn colossal praise for hammering all-comers while Mayweather
has lingered in the backround in what seems to have been a lavish if rather uncomfortable state of semi-retirement".

Can you atleast pretend to have have some impartiality instead of being an obvious Pacquiao***ual?

At least the weight difference when he and Manny step into the ring will be only 4-6lbs. Not much difference.

I didn't say that Pacquiao was GOAT!!! Only time will tell that. As time will be the only one to tell both their legacies...time will tell that Manny didn't take time off (waiting for a year and a half between fights). Time will tell that Manny stayed active, fighting fighters that were BIGGER than him. Time will be the only one to tell who had the better careers...you forget all the greats had loses, and still came back and won. Like Pacquiao...he has lost 3 times...May-never has not taken any risky fights in his later years as Pacquiao has. So I never said Paquiao was GOAT, you said that. Only time will tell.
