      first time poster, greetings everybody....

My thoughts on Mayorga: After watching a little bit of the Trinidad fight again....I saw a fighter who actually did carry his power up with him to 160....those wild swinging punches of his landed mostly on Tito's gloves, shoulders and arms and rocked him real good and had the juice to seriously hurt Trinidad if they had landed with any regularity....he simply got counter/combination-punched to death by a devestating boxer/puncher in Tito. All this "blown-up welter" talk in my opinion does not make any sense and is simply an excuse not to give Felix Trinidad any credit for his comeback victory.

I don't think he can make 147 anymore....he is simply too big. He was a very, very big welterweight. The guy admittedly walks around at 175-180lbs; I took the time in looking at his fight record and was astonished to find that he is actually a former Jr.Middleweight [99'-01'] who shrunk himself down to welter the past few years. I think Jr.Middle should be his target weight. I think he'll be comfortable at 154. Even returning to Middleweight isn't out of the question [as long as he stays away from Tito/B-Hop. Those guys love to eat up brawlers like him], but I think his welterweight days are over.

mayorga is no doubt one of my favourite fighters. it's not that... it's that he has to return at a lower weight class. he struggles to go 12 rounds period, but at middlweight comon now. i say if he faces tito at 147, he mite have a chance.

if he goes to welterweight... let him knock out everyone. spinks got VERY lucky against mayorga. i think it was in the 12th, mayorga landed a big body shot, and spinks went down but the ref said it was a slip. and the two point deductions IMO were dum.

Mayorga gona knock out EVERYONE!!!. lol

mayorga has just as much heart if not more that anyone in the game. His chin is one of if not the best also. I dont see anyone that can knock him out at 154 or 147. when he stuck out his chin against tito i think he was wobbled and played it off good but its still that fact that he did it. i thought as soon as he stuck his chin out his head was going into the third row. it would be great to see him against anyone, hes basically a smaller mike tyson, and 90% of the world will pay to see tyson fight, even though he is past his prime.

How is Trinidad waiting for Hopkins to get old? First of all, Hopkins is already old, and was old when tito fought him, second, tito likes fighting the best, so I don't think tito would fill good by beating Hopkins knowing that hopkins is not the same fighter who beat him. True or false?

I would like to see a match between Mayorga and the winner of Joval/Vargas at 154lbs.

Would be exciting to say the least.

the only problem about mayorga is that..........im wondering how will he be
after the beating he got from tito........boxers usually are never the same
after a beating liek that he was hit wihtalot of flush powershots........and not sure if his chin will be the same....I am hoping he will come back better than ever.......but I am worried
