How good is Mikey Garcia?

I still can't make my mind up on Garcia and his potential. At first I wasn't big on him, but now i kinda fux with him.

He obviously is a good boxer/puncher with a nice straight right hand and good left hook. nice pop. nice jab. knows how to set his punches up. patient. cool, calm, collected. defense appears to be at least acceptable, but nothing amazing.

I really want to see him against Salido, and then the winner takes on Juan Ma.

How do you see Mikey fairing?

Man I don't know about Gamboa . . . well, I could see Mikey timing gamboa coming in. if he made gamboa nervous and unleashing flurries via ambush tactics, then mikey can definitely outbox him from the outside off the jab.

Juan Ma vs. Garcia would be a nice fight. The southpaw/orthodox straight right/straight left dynamic would be in effect.

I think Salido/Garcia is next.

All Mikey needs is about 3 more fights & he beats Gamboa.Out of the 3,being Gamboa,Juanma & Mikey,Mikey is the most fundamentally sound.They're bringing him along at the correct pace.He'll be a better fighter overall than both Gamboa & Juanma & also beats them both if Arum allows those fights to happen in the future.
