Marco Antonio Rubio, the mandatory challenger to the middleweight champion of the World Boxing Counsel, saw nothing that worried him in the title winning effort by Julio Caesar Chávez Jr., who last Saturday won twelve round majority decision to capture the title from Sebastián Zbik of Germany. Rubio doesn't expect Chavez to last the distance if they get in the ring. Earlier this year, Rubio knocked out previously unbeaten David Lemieux to earn the shot.

I really think Rubio would knock him out. He has good power and a verry good chin. Rubio deserves his shot so the corrupt organisations hopefully make it happen.

it's just a matter of time before more mw's open up and start saying they want a shot at jcc jr. they won't fight martinez, so hopefully if they don't or do fight cotto, rubio would be next in line...rubio is deff capable of beating jcc jr.

I do see Veneno Rubio winning this fight. Veneno is not the most skilled guy in boxing but he has improved and that was showed in his fight with Lemieux. He's now more intelligent and knows that he needs to be pacient to win some fights.
After Chavez Jr - Zbik I see Veneno winning by KO over Chavez Jr. The son of the legend has terrible defensive flaws, his guard is just plain crap. So as I said I would have Veneno by KO, because Marco Rubio is not going to need to land 400 punches in order to hurt Chavez Jr.
