Mexico's 20-year-old WBC junior middleweight titlist Saul Alvarez will pursue his 33rd straight win and his 12th stoppage in his past 14 fights during the mandatory defense of his belt against England's 34-year-old Ryan Rhodes on June 18 in Jalisco, Mexico.

Rhodes is very confident. As I think he should be.

It's going to be a war. As long as Rhodes rides out the early storm I think he should win. Too much experience, too savvy for such a young fighter, and he will also be the biggest puncher Canelo has been in with.

If Alvarez wins in dominant fashion he is a lot better than I thought he was, and he is a proper champion - not a paper champ.

Why should Rhodes be so confident? Who the hell has this guy fought? Nobody. And now he's gonna beat one of the sports rising young stars in his home country?

Rhodes had better hit hard b/c he has no prayer to win a decision. Canelo wins this fight, be serious. He's got too much offense.

Yeah, it's a bit like a guy with a big ****. He knows that he has good reason to be confident, it's just that other people won't realise why until saturday night. Rhodes is in the same situation.

Some people are for a massive shock.

I'll write Brits going off abroad with no hope. But Rhodes is not one of those.

And if Canelo is even slightly as open as against Hatton he's getting KO'd.

              It should be a war.
