    Floyd-Ortiz is good for boxing

Floyd is facing a young lion who's in his prime and is coming off a very impressive win. *******s can try and discredit it all they want but the fact to the matter is...Floyd vs Ortiz shits all over that Pac-JMM 3 mismatch.

Yeah, it's good for boxing because boxing needs a new super star and Floyd can now pass the torch to Victor Ortiz.

    Vicious by TKO.

Absolutely agree 100%. I'm tired of Arum's standard BS statement of "he's not a PPV fighter". Well how does one become a PPV fighter? PPV attractions aren't born, they are made, which means at some point they have to be given the initial chance to show their wares on PPV before they have become a "name". Arum just uses that horse **** as an excuse to put his cash cows into easily winnable fights against faded former champions without having to test them against younger fighters that are in their prime.

both ranked fighters, neither one is considered old/shot, can't go wrong with that.

It's a great fight and the haters even know that...If Pac was fighting Ortiz they would praise him, but since it's Floyd, they say Ortiz is Maidana's leftovers.

Any objective fan knows this is great for the sport. It might be even better if Ortiz can make Floyd engage.........imagine the hysteria if he actually beat Floyd.

and what weight was that at? I would bet and 10K he would do a job on Maidana at 147.

Floyd comming back is good for the sport. Look what happened on this forum. People are talking. This will bring alot of hype and everyone will be calling for Pac/May like crazy this fall.

Ortiz is a live opponent. I don't think he can handle Floyd's skills, but I will be rooting for Victor.
