I knew his condition was serious, but I was very optimistic that he would pull threw & beat this weird form of cancer..Unfortunately it didn't happened..I got to see & enjoy a lot of Chicanito's fight's before & after he won the World Championship title..He was always a gentleman...Rest in Peace Campeón..

Genaro came and supported our amateur boxing program a few years back.We never forgot how nice and humble he was. The kids really enjoyed
his prescence.He was a Champion in the ring and a Champion in Life! He will be missed by many.
