There are a lot of good point but I do believe he's getting paid that plus PPV. HBO needs this. What have they done? Neither Floyd or Manny has mad an appearance on HBO this year.

Floyd's made it well known he wants to get paid if hes going to fight. I can see this happening. I just hope he doesn't leave the sport again with that much money made.

He could also be claiming this to use as a bargaining tool in the event he decides to take of his skirt and fight Pac. He can say "I made $40-$50mil fighting Ortiz. Why should I make the same to face Pacquiao" Like I stated in an earlier post......Floyd has a history of lying/exaggerating about his purse amounts. I believe he received something along the lines of a $20-$25mil guarantee with the possiblity of making in upwards of $40mil depending on how many ppv's are sold.

40 mil huh. I don't even think DLH got that guarantee against PBF yet PBF is supposed to get it against someone like Ortiz? Highly doubtful. I believe he got a 22 million guarantee against Mosley so I'll be surprised if he gets more against someone whose less known.

and the thing is, berto believes ortiz was on ilegal drugs for the fight with him, but yet mayweather is gonna have a fight with ortiz...i alsoi wonder if mayweather will continue the blood testing crusade?
