1. He wasn't retired. 2. Ortiz is the best welterweight out there besides Manny for Floyd to fight. 3. This fight is a perfect tune up fight for him before he fights Manny next May (my prediction).

I've always thought that *****s had like some real serious hate towards Pacquiao. At some point and since then, I've thought they, as a group, were worse than *******s, I mean I've heard some ridiculous comments, ones they probably don't even believe...and this is what's happening right now...floyd hater or not, you're hating right now. Floyd vs Ortiz is a solid match. Ortiz is a solid opponent in a division that's weak of such talent that compares to Floyd or Pacquiao, but again, don't blame Ortiz for being the best that was available, that's just today's welterweight division. This is a solid fight, who else can Floyd fight? No one else (pacquiao not included), unless Cotto wants to come down in weight....that's it, no really, that's it.

I still believe in what i said before but now after viewing the peterson fight and knowing floyd, he won,t take a fight knowing that he can,t win....now if ortiz somehow wins then good.. Bump the thread but, if he don,t then bump the thread... No skin off my nose...
