Whether he wins or loses ortiz just became pacquiao's next opponent some time next year. This fight with mayweather is going to give him great exposure.

for what its worth it beats the hell out of any other welterweight match going down this year. it's nice to see a hungry young fighter get a shot, instead of laughed off and told he's not big enough of a draw. it takes one superstar to make a big fight. Floyd has already proved that. and all Manny had to do was agree to random testing or atleast take out a few seconds after the Mosley fight to say I'll do whtever it takes to make that fight, but im afraid Arum had a plan all along to cash in before Manny loses to Floyd.

Pac not egotistical? the man has hundreds of photos posted up of himself all over his house and wears a t-shirt with his own face on it.

look at how Arum handles Chavez, and then ask why the big fights are never made.

Your right, he CLEARLY protects Chavez, so you know damn well that he protects Manny.

Chavez jr is the middleweight champ, why are they pressing a fight with Cotto and Margo who are both jr middles when you have Martinez. that means if Cotto or Margo beat him they will have the belt, and fight eachother leaving Martinez out of it and the belt in top rank's hands.

No its not the same with Manny. People need to cut that **** out.

Manny has been riding the coattails of other boxers for years now.

Mayweather beats DLH and Hatton. So Pacquiao beats them AFTERWARDS.

Margarito beats Clottey and Cotto. So Pacquiao beats them AFTERWARDS.

Mosley KO's Margarito. So Pacquiao beats him AFTERWARDS.

Mayweather dominates Mosley. So Pacquiao beats him AFTERWARDS.

Every chance a boxer takes is then shadowed by Pacquiao and it needs to stop. Pacquiao takes no chances, stipulates catchweights for a weight he can easily make, and only fights guys coming off the worst loss of their careers.

Even now when Mayweather stepping back into the ring, a ******* tries to slip Pacquiao's name in there to get some recognition. Pacquaio's last fight was a bust. In terms of numbers and recognition. Pacquiao is running out of guys he can fight. I can almost guarantee he'll fight Ortiz next once Floyd wins. Its his pattern. His M.O.

Pacquiao does NOTHING but say "Hey ... I can do what you guys do too", only he uses catchweights to do it and he waits until SOMEONE ELSE does it first.

Let Pacquiao stand on his own merits. His last 3 fights were ****ty and he is looking for all the help he can get. People are excited about Floyd and it has nothing to do with Pacquiao. He's not facing Pacquiao. He's not talking about Pacquiao. Floyd isn't even thinking about Pacquiao, and its killing *******s everywhere.
