This fight is LIGHT YEARS better then floyds last two, I'm ****ing pumped. Now it looks like the undercard is gonna be STACKED. Is ortiz gonna win, no, but so what? At least he's got a punchers chance and at least floyds getting off the street and back into the ring. Floyd hasn't fought anyone in over a year, ortiz is a lefty with ko power, and he's a legit 147 pounder. Did anyone expect anything BETTER then this? Old as dirt mosley caught floyd clean and thats after not fighting for over a year and a half, why can't vic? Ortiz is active, he's strong, and if he's able to catch floyd a couple of times, ( even with the pillow gloves I'm sure he'll gonna be forced to wear ) anything can happen. Do i think vic will win, hell no, but I'm still really excited about this fight.
A punchers chance?? He has more than a punchers chance seeing that Mayweather has been off for 15+ months.

Mosley had no punchers chance at ALL, people tried to bill it as one, but after I seen Pacquiao take Margarito, Clottey, Cotto shots, I knew old man Mosley shots wouldn't both him, Mosley no longer had that POP against Pacquiao.

Mosley's win against cheato was over blown, those circumstances were perfect for the upset and it got people all blowing smoke for nothing. I didn't buy into old mans hype vs floyd, I sure as hell knew he was gonna get a beating from pac. I wasn't impressed when either man signed on to give gramps that beat down.

Ortiz is the very best option out there right now at 147 and floyd took it. I got no problem giving the man his props when he actually does something to deserve them.

I hope you are, because at 147 Ortiz is no joke. He and his coach were adamant he was running at 70-75% of his best in the Berto fight. If he finds that other 25-30% this fight is going to be worth every cent.

Great. Outside of Pacquiao, imo, this is the best option at 147. Which just show how thin 147 is now.

Still if Peterson had good success with him, I don't fancy his chances with Floyd. He would have a much better chance with Pac.

Still, how can a boxing fan complain. Officially hyped.

...and I do not want to hear that Ortiz is fighting for the Mexican people either just because the date is near Mexico's Independence Day....Ortiz is as much from Mexico as Mayweather is from Africa...

Mayweather by UD, fight not even close!

Won't matter, he speaks the language, that means Mexican fans will get on board.

Gayweather is an embarrassment to the sport of boxing, he always picks the leftovers of a mediocre boxer. I would rather watch an old movie than waste my time watching a **** fight.

fook, i'm beginning to hate the sport of boxing.
