it just looks like roy with a full beard, probably done it just for the crack.
Right ive got a bushy beard i must have been training like a mofo cos i havnt even had time to shave, i think that bs, probably just couldnt be arsed to get the bic out.
I hope he pulls the win out it would be nice to see him go out with a win and get revenge over tarver but i just dont think it'l happen i think hes grown old and doesnt have it anymore plus tarver could be his bogeyman

SpinxJinx, isn't the image at the bottom in just a little bad taste considering Leavander was only last week?

As for Roy... if he fights WITH the beard, won't it give his detractors plenty to jeer? (Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but he never had much of a beard figuratively speaking, did he?)

Barretto...supposedly Roy has been doing two-a-days for Tarver. Also, supposedly Roy had been sparring a few weeks in advance of the contract being signed. At that time he was supposedly sparring 30 rounds a week.

Roy Sr. said about the fight that "There are some changes, technical changes." We'll see what, if anything, that means.

Additionally, Roy had Eric Harding and Anthony Mundine in his camp for sparring.

Jones did a 3 a day for Ruiz and for the majority of his career...No wonder he fallen off if he went from 3 times a day to 1 and is only doing 2 now...Come on it is the biggest fight of his life, he should be training he like he did for Ruiz.

I am? Sorry, didn't mean to be repetitive.

Tell you what's on my mind... I bought a magazine that asked if this was "a fatal mistake" for Roy. Unsettling choice of words...

Not a problem no reason to apologize, I found humor in it but considering the circumstances it was just the wrong timing I guess...That magazine perhaps was using the wrong choice of words but I will tell you what. When I seen Johnson knock Roy out cold, I thought something seriously was wrong and was thinking McClellan all over again...If Jones does wins this fight even impressively I hope he retires. I doubt he could get up for any other fight, including the Johnson fight.
