Hmmmm....One is the lineal WW champ going against the #2 ranked WW. The other is the #1 ranked WW going against the lineal LW champ at WW.

    I will take the former.

I have to go with Manny vs JMM. Floyd is way too superior for Ortiz. I don't think Ortiz is mentally strong enough to handle Floyd's out the ring antics and in ring veteran savyness. Floyd will counter Ortiz coming forward all night long til Ortiz if frustrated and doesn't want to take the nessesary risk to win the fight. Floyd wins in a landslide UD12.

Manny vs JMM, everyone is expecting fireworks between these two, and hopefully that's what we get. JMM will be fired up for this fight, but I think the weight will be an issue, so Manny will dominate the fight. But will give the fans what they want which is trading blows at times with JMM, which will make it the more exciting fight.

        May-Ortiz more interesting

I think the majority prefers to watch May-Ortiz because of the following factors:
        - Ortiz is the young up and comer
        - Ortiz upset Berto
        - Ortiz has power, speed and fought with heart against Berto
        - Although May is boring to watch, at least there is the drama that he may lose his no losses
        - most people think that Pac will blow Marquez away this time
        - May-Ortiz are both Americans
        - Marquez-Pac are both non-Americans

the talent level is closer in JMM vs Pacquiao and its the better match up style wise if only they could fight at 135-140 instead of Mannyweight

^the mannyweight was benefited only by JMM not pac. what do you think fight night weight is going to be? both about 145-148 just like the previous fight.

they r both great match-ups 4 2 very simple reasons:

                  FLOYD MAYWEATHER and MANNY PACQUIAO.

any fight involving 1 or both of those fighters is a great fight. they r 2 of the greatest fighters on the planet in this era-- instead of trying to discredit them, we should be taking advantage of the fact that we get to see them live, in our time.

how is it benefited By JMM when Manny weight in Mosley and MArgarito fights were around 144 and the last time Marquez came in at that weight looked bloated and lost his speed and power.

and you guys seriously need to kill the fight night weight talk it's unofficial and most of the time it's irrelevant

how is it irrelevant? look at fight night weight for marquez vs pac II. it is within ww. Other welters bloat up to 150-160+ that's why it's huge for pac moving to 147 not only that. his fight night weights are generally around 148-150. marquez can come in at 141 or however the hell he wants to weigh but fight night come in around 145-147. compared to having to worry about floyds fight night weight of 160+. how that doesn't make any sense would be beyond me if you think that's not relevant.

so pac having to make 144 puts slight restriction to him though he's used to ~144 without having to worry about eating 7000 calories. we know marquez will have no problem going under 144. if he's smart he will train as hard as he wants and come fight night ready.
