Serg should fight a 168 pounder. He should fight Ward. If he did, then people would go nuts. He needs to do this to become the biggest in the world.

it doesn't matter what belts Sergio Martinez wins, he'll just be stripped when a name or prospect comes along.

WBO, stripped Martinez so Daniel Jacobs could win a title but Pirog messed that up.

WBC, stripped Martinez so Chavez could beats a paper champ in Zbik.

it doesn't matter. Martinez could face Geale, Pirog, Baker, whoever but anyone with a name isn't coming anywhere near him and in this sport beating the best doesn't mean ****, it's about beating the biggest names if you want to be P4P best.

Martinez beat Dzinziruk who's a good fighter. IMO Dzinziruk beats most guys at 154 and 160 but since he isn't known the win means ****, he's just a goat herder.

martinez is an elite fighter but him being the B-side of the draw makes it hard for him to get a fight with the more popular fighters. he brings nothing to the table but a big threat. and him almost begging for a fight with floyd, pac, cotto and chavez jr is not helping either. sometimes he calls them out to the point of being disrespectful. he's an elite fighter...he should act like one.

I don't agree with you on some of your stuff here bud, Sergio is by no means a "goat herder" hes a bad ass that is just taking out whoever is put in front of him, he's already stated that he wants the big names in the sport, it's not his fault if they dont want any part of him.

As far as Zbik being a paper champ I dont agree with that (at least not after the performance he put on Sat night) he was beating Jr up with combos, and IMO i thought he pulled off at least a draw and definitely deserves a rematch but hey thats just my opinion.

I do however like that you're calling out some of the alphabelt's on the crap they keep pulling.

Vanes Martirosyan destroyed Dzinziruk in sparring...

Really? Geale was beaten by 34 year old Anthony Mundine and only beat Sebastian Sylvester on Split decision.

                Martinez takes him apart.

He is a Martinez fan of course he will love that fight for his guy

An easy fight and a title versus a feather fisted opponent

Notice how they never talk about The Beast Golovkin or Pirog the other Champions at Middleweight

he beat slyvester in slyvester's home country.
                      he's got a belt.
he's ranked in the top 5 of the middleweight division.
it's a fight martinez needs imo. if he can't get a name at 154, then the other option is to try and unify the MW division, this is one step towards doing that.
