Why is Cotto getting a shot at a middleweight championship???

Why the **** should Cotto get a straight shot at a middleweight championship?? Everyone criticized Canelo and JCC jr. for getting their shots but everyone seems on board for an unproven 154 fighter like Cotto to just move up to 160 and fight JCC jr. IMO he should defend his title at 154 against Angulo or Cintron and if he wins he can fight ZBIK. IMO JCC jr can beat Cotto based on his size and body work alone.. Cotto has been known to fold when hit to the body.. and body work is JCC jr. specialty.. But I still believe Cotto does not deserve to fight for the middleweight championship when he has not even fought the best at 154.. If people criticize the way Canelo and JCC jr. got their title shots then they should also be against Cotto gettin a straight shot!!

Man if you don't know by now, ARUM has destroyed boxing for the past few years, he just happens to control some of boxings biggest stars, which cause ALOT of problems.

I don't think it's a real belt anyway. And it shouldn't as his 4th title at his fourth weight division.

I will say this tho. The boxing media got on canelo about his belt. But the seem to be ok with Chavez jr. Or the fact he won't face Martinez. They ended up repeating what bob said Lou instead of pointing out that Martinez is the real champ and Chavez must fight him.

I agree, but Bob Arum is gonna do whats good for HIM, not the sport, I can't wait until he finally retires.

I hope these boxers understand that there legacy is gonna be tarnished by Bob Arum, 20 years from now when people look back, and there gonna try to blame it on Arum, and there not gonna be able to.
