20-0 with 16 KO's. Coming off a decision win over Daniel Ponce de Leon, although alot thought he didnt get it but still pretty impressive.
How good can he be, can he be a star?
Why would you say "still pretty impressive?" He got his ass kicked and lost the fight but was given a gift decision. It was shameful and he did not deserve it. There was nothing impressive about that performance and his snowboating and attitude despite taking a pasting and not doing anything in the fight made him very unlikable to me.
I did not see anything in him that leads me to believe he will be anything in this sport. I would like to see him fight a top notch fighter just so that he can get his ass kicked.
That kid has no class. That gift over Ponce De Leon left a bad taste in my mouth for Broner that will never go away.
I think a lot of people will underrate him because he comes off like a little bich so take that into account to. He seemed to have better than average skills but as of right now he is nothing special imo.

Better than average skills yet lost to Ponce who has limited footwork and is past his prime? An up and coming fighter with better than average skills and was a REAL TOP PROSPECT would have beat Ponce up handily and taken a UD.

Imo he had decent skills and the fight was no robbery although it was very close. I dont think he is a top prospect but i also dont think he is a bum either. His demeanor and fighting style rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and i think it somewhat skews the evaluation of his talent.
