At least one of the judges gave Glencoffe round 12, and after watching it a few times I still can't figure out why. The only thing I can think of is that they thought that when Tarver tripped and stumbled they thought he got knocked back by a shot from Glencoffe. Other than that Tarver dominated.
This exposes a flaw in the judging system: the judges have to make up their minds on the spot and there's no way for them to consult others or look at replays. In baseball and football the officials can get together and work out a decision, and in football they can then go to instant replay. Boxing judges have to make snap decisions and never have a chance to review what they saw.
