What did Floyd do to make Shane gas so fast?

I've said it several times, Mayweather's style may seem easy to handle, and in fact most his opponents stand on the outside looking in and think it's nothing but flash. But the fact is, wether you can see it or not, Mayweather's ability to defend extremely well and attack accurately makes it very hard for fighters to get into position to attack, and all they get for their effort is some accurate counterpunches and a missing target.
He reduces his opponents output, making them work hard to get at him while taking solid shots the whole time, that will make anyone gas.Last edited by AllEyesOpen; 06-06-2011, 09:23 PM.Comment

right after shane rocked em, he began to throw punches to the body while he was close to shane . floyds craft, he also pushed shane head down with the forearm, when shane tried to hold on he pushed him off, and constantly pushed the action, not giving shane any time to rest.
So a couple of body shots, tug to the neck made Shane gas?
I think you've been watching that video so much that you are actually believing it.
It's speculation at best .... closer to the truth was that Mosley was ~39, was inactive for 16 months and had 2 consecutive camps (burnt out perhaps?) therefore it was not the same young primed Mosley we are used to seeing in there.
Also, I question if he trained properly (not quantity but quality) for this fight.
A young Mosley had stamina and would appear to get stronger as the fight went on. That was not the case here. I didn't see any spark coming from Mosley except for the 2nd round. After that, Mosley was gassed out.
Of course, Mosley was PEDs free. It may have had something to do with it too. Who knows for sure ...Comment

real talk if you go back to the 24/7 footage. you will see that shane was tired in every interview and was talking like it was out of breathe. we took it as he was training hard but it really was a sign of things to come. another thing is that in the lockerroom before the fight shane was still dry and sucking on ice.
for the people who say it was rigged one thing that i noticed was in the last 24/7 episode floyd was like ima win b/c shane will gas. the reporter ask how do you know that he will gas? floyd replied "i just know these things". also in one of the press conferences oscar said something like "somebody is getting beat and it aint gon be pretty" couldve been a play on words for pretty boy.
**** idk but both fights was suspectComment
