This might be a rare choice, but Im going to go ahead and say Arce has the biggest fight changing power when it comes to body shots.

overall a steady body attack is pretty rare in today's divisions. kind of went downhill.
Why is that? Is the contemporary style of boxing changing? If the body attack is so effective why do you think it's on the decline?

the best for me are Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez

floyd punches to the body are fast and accurate dont look hard but we all know that body punches slow anybody down

marquez combinations to the head and body are just beautiful too

i blame the amateur pts system that relies on people keeping scores and leads fighters to move in and out to allow people time to score their punches

                and also 12 round fights
body punches take many rounds to accumulate
they will be more apparent at the end of a 15 round fight, and are more likely to lead to a stoppage with longer fights

nobody fights inside anymore, either. refs are quick to break fighters with free hands

young fighters don't grow up learning how to break a man down, only how to score pts
and of course body punches score less in the Ams

so if you see a good body puncher, odds are he developed in the pros

Denis Lebedev has mean deep body attack.

Lucian Bute takes the cake now, deep brutal body attack.

Miguel Cotto, but his body attack has been slipping as of late.

Shane Mosley in his prime had a fucking paralysing body work.

Maidana beats the body up pretty well.

Giovanni Segura has a constant hard body routine.

Juan Manuel Marquez has an precise, accurate body game.

Urbano Antillo really brings it to the body.

Daniel Ponce De Leon and Jhonny Gonzales have a good body arsenal.

Jorge Arce has the best left hook to the body since Micky Ward.

Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. salughters the body pretty well.

Roman Gonzales always brings it to the body.
