Clemente Russo's 91kg+ rival Magomedrasul Medzhidov of Azerbaijan weight ten kilograms more than the Italian world champion. Russo hedged tight to fend off Medzhidov's heavy punches throughout the match before pocketing the golden belt at 67-66, 67-66 and 67-66.

In addition to winning the first WSB title belts and the Olympic qualification places, each Individual Champion takes home a prize cheque of $20,000 (£12,000).

Haha that's true particulary Russo, if you had seen Russo fight with headgear he's not that exciting and is very defensive, but in this tournament he's a complete different fighter, very agressive

A shame that Lomachenko was not in the Tournament i would have like to see how he would have fare without the headgear
