Were you saying that when he beat Ruiz? Tarver and Jones Jr are the same age man so if Roy is out of his prime of old-age so is Tarver. Honestly, with Roys' millions and millions you think he would take a fight he couldn't win? If Tarver fought Jones when he was at light heavy, there wouldn't even be a rubber match. Jones would of ended his career.

The problem is... you have to take consideration of the 2 KO's he's had. I'm a Jones' fan buddy, but since seeing what happened to LJ. I've become more of a skeptic to boxers who previously suffered a 30-minute Knockdown.

I've got no problem with Jones' skills. No question he's great. But to fight at the top level knowing you're already battered by numerous injuries and past punishments is beyond me. Tarver has a very strong punch, and do you think Tarver's gonna hand the belt on a silver platter to Jones? No way is that gonna happen.

If Jones were still in his prime, no problem. But at this time, rest and retirement should be the right path for Jones, not a return to boxing.
