You do realise that he has visited the troops in Afghanistan.i also dedicate my day today at work to all the troops around the world
who protect and give us liberty and freedom. we are seriously truly lucky
for what they do.
however, hey froch, if you want to be thankful to the troops dedicating a
fight to them doesn't help them in the least.
send over a care package, funding or support those wives and children who
lost a husband or dad over there with some financial aid or letters of
thanks and praise like the rest of us.
these men and women have bombs dropping on them and bullets flying
over their heads and froch thinks he did a service to them sat night????
seriously, what is wrong with froch?Comment

The quote is "I also want to dedicate this win to all the troops, English and American, who are out in places like Afghanistan. I've had a lot of support from the regiments. They are doing a tough job, that is the real fighting and are doing a fantastic job.
Nothing more than a dedication to them!! And I didn't know he'd visited Afghanistan until the post above but enough said. Good gesture!!Comment

Ward is a great fighter but Froch fights great.
Carl is a surprising athlete who can begin to dictate a pace just when you think he may collapse.
I think he can make the adjustments required to win a close victory.
Both men represent the sport with dignity and I truly hate to see either man fail.Comment

froch is a hell of a fighter, can he beat ward i am not sure that he can but it will be a hell of a fight and froch will be ready. i would not at all be caught off guard if froch wins. Even at this stage froch has fought perhapes better fighter then calzage. I expect a classic fight between both of them.Comment

anyone else see froch's underlying intent of doing this? he is trying to market to a demographic where he can find new fans. his promotor knows that the "scruff, rugged white boy" type age 18-40 are the type who will support him. and these dudes tend to be extremely PRO militaryComment

either way, props. i got respect for these young guys who go and risk their lives. don't really agree with the government putting them there - but these troops are just trying to make a living and make it in this world like the rest of us.Comment
