My goodness what is wrong with you people? Think about how many PPVs have ever done more than 1.3 million buys. There aren't many.

A failure, that's just incredibly dumb hating. Get a life.

Good numbers for a bad fight. Showtime/CBS brought exposure to this fight. CBS/Showtime did there job I'n the marketing department, yet they are still way behind HBO In production, lighting, and commentary In boxing. Its kind of odd that it took so long to bring these figuires out.

PAC vs JMM 3 needs to generate more.

*****s owned!!!!! manny is now the face of boxing!!!
Constantly being outperformed at the box office against common opponents, even with an exaggerated promotional push this time around, now equates to being the face of boxing? Umm...ok.

But if that helps you sleep at night to believe that, go nuts.
A massive success? It would've done those #'s minus the switch and immense propaganda.

I feel you. Ever since Floyd and DLH broke the record, the battle of the box office has become a bonafide argument for some fans. Pac and Floyd both do incredible numbers and that should be it. My only knock on the Pac fans are them using numbers as a way of "one upping" Floyd. Any time the guy you're "sticking your tongue out" at holds the record and does better numbers against common opponents, you should just be happy that Pac (or any boxer for that sake) is able to do his numbers and keep it moving. When Pac fans start wolfing about it, it just reeks of desperation. Leave the numbers game alone and sit back and enjoy the fights.

1.3 mil is impressive. That said, given the CBS promotion and advertising everyone expected more. Manny is always called the "face of boxing" "most popular" etc. I find it interesting from a PPV sales perspective that floyd mayweather jr. generally exceeds expectations yet MAnny doesn't live up to expectations.

To be fair 1.3 mil for a terrible fight is damn good.

Considering they had CBS air fight camp 360 after 60 minutes should tell you the money that was put into this fight wasn't worth it. He needs to fight Mayweather and stop fighting washed up bums.
