Why do some of you act like JCC Jr should apologize for winning?

The kid did enough to win........was it pretty?? no........was it convincing??? no....... did he "WOW" anyone with this win??? no.......would I be making the same argument if Zbik was announced as the winner?? YES!

This was a close fight that could have gone either way.....Jr looked vulnerable and a better quality fighter (Martinez, Pac) might have put him away......but at the end of the day Jr is now a champ.....so why should he apologize for that?? if his name wasn't JCC none of you would even care.......he'd be just another dude go got a belt........so that being said......

Chavez Jr gets hated on way too much on here because off who hos dad was.If he wasnt Julios son had the exact same career to this today he would probably be rated higher although being Julios son he got the title shot easier then others.In saying that Julio did look vunerable against a good but limited fighter in Zbik and Zbik could have taken that fight if he didnt stay on the inside so much those body shots Jr hit him with were brutal

dont understand the hate also. i mean he's not proclaiming himself to be anything anyway at the moment and he doesnt' trash talk. of course he still has to prove himself against top notch competition and it will come... top rank's hype machinery is in full gear for this kid and we'll know soon.

i know he's not a great boxer yet but i admired his heart in his last fight.

Zbik is out there saying he didn't lose......saying he didn't like the decision....well then he should have done something about that in the ring.....

it's not like he didn't get a chance to......he was peppering Jr in the grill all damn fight..........he should of put him away......a better fighter would have......but he didn't.......

The thing is after being called the loser speaking on it like he is....... makes him sound like a cry baby......IMO he does deserve a re-match.....and if they do get it on again......maybe next time Zbik can actually do something about it and not just cry about it after......

I think he beats Cotto, he's too big. He's a freakin SMW at worst. If he fights Martinez, Ward, Bute, Froch he dies.....

I was impressed with him, he gets so much hate but he's a strong durable guy who comes to fight,I thought he won 116-112

I gotchu.....I can get with that assessment of JCC.....cuz no one is making im out to be his pops.....or even something "special" the kid took advantage of the situation that was presented to him.....he had a shot at the title and he took it.....now he has the title....for how long?? will he get schooled by the "better" talent in the div?? who knows......

alls im saying is for now he has the belt.....let who ever has an issue with that go take it from him in the ring......if its so easy for Cotto, Martinez, etc.....then I guess they won't have a prob kicking his ass and picking up another belt along the way.....but until that happens and by definition Jr is a champion....

talking so much......they're gonna be heartbroken again. i think junior beats the crap out of cotto tbh. too big , too strong. plus you know cotto gasses after 4-5 rounds.
